Hands for Africa was recently awarded a grant of $7,500 from the Marin/San Francisco Jewish Teen Foundation (MSFJTF)! We are so grateful for their help in coming alongside HFA in raising funds that will go directly to providing more prosthetic limbs and educational scholarships.
The MSFJTF, a group of teen philanthropists who support various non-profits and worldwide causes, chose HFA as an honored grant recipient. Solomon Gerber, Executive Director, along with other HFA staff members attended the MSFJTF Grants Celebration at the Kol Shofar Synagogue in Tiburon, California to accept the generous check. On behalf of the victims in Sierra Leone and all of us here at Hands for Africa, we would again like to thank the MSFJTF for their contribution!
Hands for Africa
Hands for Africa is a non-profit organization working to restore lost hope to those devastated by the civil war in Sierra Leone. We support amputee victims by developing and implementing self-reliance programs and providing the necessary aid for the advancement of these programs.
